Steam generation plant for the paper industry

is the motto of the traditional Austrian family enterprise Rondo Ganahl AG.

At the headquarter in Frastanz two double fire-tube boilers of the type ZFR28000 of the firm Bosch Industriekessel GmbH employing gas and dual-fuel burners marathon^® M 10001.2 and  MC 10001.2 from dreizler^® were installed.

A key aspect of efficient energy transformation lay in the high reaction speed and the outstandingly Low NOx properties of the burners as well as the maximum utilisation of the natural gas fuel.

Using combustion air pre-warmed to 75°C, four DUObloc burners marathon^® M 10001.2 and MC 10001.2 with O₂- and CO regulation oxygenplus were employed. In addition, during times of varying steam demand, the high regulation ratio (1:10) of the burner in gas operation insure optimal operation of the steam boiler. The NOx emissions lie consistently below 90 mg/kWh during gas operation and below 150 mg/kWh using extra light heating oil.
